When managing a large number of document templates in Event Temple, you may want to clean up or organize your template library by archiving multiple templates at once. However, Event Temple does not currently support batch archiving of document templates.
Current Functionality
Each document template must be archived individually.
To do this:
Go to Settings → Document Templates.
Locate the template you want to archive.
Click the Archive button beside that template.
You can repeat this process for each template that needs to be archived. Archived templates will no longer appear in your active template list but can be viewed again by checking “Show Archived”.
Why There’s No Batch Option
The document template area is designed to give users precise control over their active documents. Since templates are often linked to contracts, proposals, or event documents, individual archiving prevents accidental bulk removal of active or shared templates.
Suggested Workaround
If you need to archive multiple templates quickly:
Use filters or search to narrow down templates by type, owner, or title.
Then, manually archive each one in sequence.
While this isn’t true batch processing, it minimizes the risk of errors and helps maintain template integrity.
