Currently, there isn’t a direct way to show deposit dates on documents in Event Temple. However, we do have a couple of workarounds that can help depending on your needs:
Option 1: Use Custom Date Fields
You can add deposit dates manually using Booking Custom Fields set to the “Date” field type. Once added, these fields can be inserted into your documents.
To do this:
Go to Settings > Custom Fields > Booking
Create a new field for each deposit (e.g., Deposit 1 Date, Deposit 2 Date) using the Date type
Add these custom fields to the booking
Insert the fields into your document using the custom field placeholders
Option 2: Use Invoices for Payment Schedules
If you're sending Invoices, you can take advantage of our Payment Schedule feature to show deposit dates.
Optional: Show Document Creation Date
If you simply want to display the date the document was created:
Click into the document header
Select “Created At”
Click Apply
Save your document
