Cloned & Recurring Bookings

Repeating a one off Booking or on an interval basis.

Updated over a week ago

You can make a Booking repeat as a one-off by cloning it and changing the date and time.

Recurring bookings are helpful when you have the same booking repeating numerous times over a set amount of time.

If a Booking will repeat more than once, you can make it Recurring. For example, if your venue is Booked every month for a Yoga Escape.

Using this feature will let you replicate a Booking for up to one year. Any Events on the original Booking will also be duplicated onto the new, recurring Bookings.

How to Clone a Booking

  1. Open the Booking you wish to clone

  2. On the top right-hand side of the book select the Actions drop-down

  3. Select Clone Booking

  4. Check the box next to the items you wish to bring over to your new Booking

  5. Select a start date for the new Booking

  6. Select Clone

Once you Clone a booking it does not link to the original one. If creating a link to the original Booking is necessary, consider creating a custom field on your booking to input the number of the original booking.

Also, remember that you can view all Bookings under that Contact by following the steps here.

Important Considerations

When cloning a Booking, the new booking will follow the same date pattern as the original. So for example, if you clone a Booking with an Event, and the Event starts two days after the Booking Start Date. The same will be true for the clone.
