Managing Tax-Inclusive Pricing Settings in Event Temple

Understanding how to configure the tax settings for invoices is a key aspect of using Event Temple effectively. Below, you will find clear instructions for toggling tax-inclusive pricing both for individual invoices and for organizational settings.

Tax Inclusive Pricing (TIP) is determined when your Organization is created. If you have the necessary permissions, you can adjust these settings directly, or you may contact the Event Temple support team for assistance if changes are locked.

Turning Off Tax-Inclusive Pricing for a Single Invoice

To disable tax-inclusive pricing for a single invoice:

  1. Open the invoice you wish to edit.

  2. Click on the three dots (β€’β€’β€’) located in the top-right corner of the invoice screen.

  3. Select 'Edit Invoice Settings' from the dropdown menu.

  4. Uncheck the option labeled 'Tax-Inclusive Pricing.'

  5. Click 'Save' to apply the changes.

Turning Off Tax-Inclusive Pricing Across Your Organization

To disable tax-inclusive pricing organization-wide:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Organization > General Settings.

  2. Under the "Menu Items" section, locate the option for 'Use tax-inclusive pricing by default.'

  3. Uncheck this option to disable it.

  1. Click Settings

  2. Under Organization, Click General Settings

  3. Under the Menu Items section view the setting

Important Note

Organization-level settings might be locked depending on your user permissions. In such cases, you may need to contact the Event Temple support team to request changes to these settings.
