Is there any backup of data stored on ET in case of emergency?
Answer:
At Event Temple, we perform a secure whole-database backup daily, and have a tested procedure for partial or complete recovery from these snapshots in the case of an emergency.
We comply with international regulations and industry best practices when handling, securing and rotating these encrypted database snapshots.
If you wish to personally backup your data, we offer export functionality for almost all Event Temple data and are happy to help you with this if there is any confusion.
Event Temple data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, following best practices. Most application data is stored in a fully managed AWS Relational Database Services (RDS) redundant database network. Our RDS network backs up the databases automatically, and these backups are deleted at end of life automatically. Additionally, database backups are periodically replicated onto our data recovery service, Clumio, and are also deleted at end of life. Uploaded files and reports are stored in AWS Simple Cloud Storage (S3).
