Opera Connection Error: Status Code Flow

Some bookings fail to sync after connecting to Opera due to missing reservation types for definite status codes. Refreshing the sync often resolves it; verify all status codes have default res types assigned.

Some properties connecting to Opera may encounter sync errors due to missing reservation types for their status codes. This can prevent bookings from appearing correctly in Intercom.

Symptoms

  • Bookings do not sync immediately after connecting Opera.

  • Some bookings sync after a refresh, others fail.

  • The issue is caused by Opera status codes without default reservation types.

Solution

  1. Refresh the Opera sync in Intercom.

  2. Confirm that every status code in Opera has a default reservation type assigned.

  3. If bookings still fail, contact your property to check that rate codes and status code flows are correctly configured.
