Answer:
The Main Calendar & Event Diary shows the selected year, the previous three years & the next (future) three years.
In the below example the date selected is 2022, therefore it also shows 2019-2021 & 2023-2025
In order to go more than 3 years in the past or future, you will need to select the furthest out year and then select the year you require.
For example, if I select 2025, the visible dates will be 2022-2014 and 2026-2028.
