The Document Due Date is a deadline field attached to a document within a booking. It helps track time-sensitive documents and ensures that clients, sales teams, or event coordinators meet submission or approval timelines.
Purpose
For internal tracking: Lets your team know when follow-up or completion is required.
For client management: Ensures clients respond to or sign documents on time.
Where It Appears
Within the document details screen (e.g., under “Banquet Event Order,” “Proposal,” or “Contract”).
Displayed in the Document Details section, near fields like Status, Language, Linked Events, and Document Type.
Common Uses
Setting a due date for a proposal to expire if not accepted.
Tracking when a contract must be signed before confirming a booking.
Ensuring a BEO is finalized before the event date.
Important Notes
The field may be optional depending on your template or document type.
Updating the due date does not automatically notify clients unless you send or share the document.
Important! Clients can still sign Documents when they are past their Due Date
