How Can I Clone an Invoice?

Learn how to clone an invoice in Event Temple from either the Invoice List or directly within a Booking. Includes important notes on Connected Invoice behaviour and how cloning may impact booking data and revenue.

Cloning an invoice allows you to quickly duplicate an existing invoice within Event Temple.

⚠️ Important: If you clone a Connected Invoice, the system will also duplicate the associated line items onto the booking and may impact booking revenue


From the Invoice List

  1. On the left-hand menu, select Invoices

  2. Locate the relevant invoice

  3. Click the dropdown arrow on the right-hand side

  4. Select Clone


From a Booking

  1. Open the relevant Booking

  2. Click the Invoices tab

  3. Locate the invoice you want to clone

  4. Click the dropdown arrow on the right-hand side

  5. Select Clone


From the Invoice

  1. Open the relevant Invoice

  2. Click the three-dots in the right-hand corner

  3. Select Clone Invoice


Important Information

  • Cloned invoices are created within the system but cannot currently be reassigned to a different booking

  • If a Connected Invoice has been converted to a regular invoice for finalization, the original booking/event line items may no longer be present, which means the cloned invoice may not include expected item data
