Managing Email Notifications & Task Reminders

Learn how Event Temple email notifications work, how to manage Task Reminders, and how to control where notifications appear in your inbox.


Task Email Notifications

Task email notifications are triggered by the Reminder setting on a Task.

If you do not want to receive an email notification for a Task, remove the reminder from the Task.

Removing a Reminder From an Existing Task

  1. Open the Task.

  2. Click the Edit icon.

  3. Click the trash icon next to the reminder.

  4. Click Save.

Task reminders cannot be removed in bulk. If multiple tasks need reminders removed, this must be completed individually.


Workflow Task Reminders

Task reminders can also be automatically added when Tasks are created through a Workflow.

To prevent future Workflow Tasks from receiving reminders:

  1. Update the Workflow settings.

  2. Remove the reminder from the Workflow.

  3. Save your changes.

Removing the reminder from a Workflow will:

  • Remove reminders from future Tasks created through that Workflow.

  • Not remove reminders from existing Tasks that have already been created.


Other Event Temple Email Notifications

It is not currently possible to completely disable all email notifications sent from Event Temple. However, you can use filters or rules within your email provider to control where Event Temple notifications appear, such as automatically moving them to a folder or keeping them out of your inbox.

Depending on your email provider, you can use the following guides:

  • Microsoft Outlook: Create rules to organize and manage incoming emails.

  • Gmail: Create filters to manage incoming emails.

When creating an email filter or rule, use this address to capture Event Temple notifications.
