Task Email Notifications
Task email notifications are triggered by the Reminder setting on a Task.
If you do not want to receive an email notification for a Task, remove the reminder from the Task.
Removing a Reminder From an Existing Task
Open the Task.
Click the Edit icon.
Click the trash icon next to the reminder.
Click Save.
Task reminders cannot be removed in bulk. If multiple tasks need reminders removed, this must be completed individually.
Workflow Task Reminders
Task reminders can also be automatically added when Tasks are created through a Workflow.
To prevent future Workflow Tasks from receiving reminders:
Update the Workflow settings.
Remove the reminder from the Workflow.
Save your changes.
Removing the reminder from a Workflow will:
Remove reminders from future Tasks created through that Workflow.
Not remove reminders from existing Tasks that have already been created.
Event Temple Email Notifications
Document Notifications
By default, document notifications are enabled in your system. This means that whenever a document is submitted (signed), the Booking Assignee, the user who created the document, and the primary contact of that booking will instantly receive a system-generated, non-editable email notification.
This ensures that you and your customer are notified immediately once a document is signed—this applies to any document type containing a signature element, making it perfect for contracts and BEOs.
Disable Document Notifications
If you don't want your customer (the primary contact on the booking) to receive a system-generated, non-editable notification email, follow these steps to disable these notifications:
Go to the Settings section in your Event Temple account.
Open the Documents subsection.
Locate the option for sending customer notifications on vendor submission.
Toggle this option off to disable these notifications.
To filter or rule within your email provider to control where Event Temple notifications appear, such as automatically moving them to a folder or keeping them out of your inbox.
Depending on your email provider, you can use the following guides:
Microsoft Outlook: Create rules to organize and manage incoming emails.
Gmail: Create filters to manage incoming emails.
Event Temple notifications are sent from notifications@eventtemple.com.
